There are many different types of pesticides you can find on today's market. They are specially formulated to be effective against various types of insects and other pests. However, it's also possible to make your own general purpose pesticide using natural ingredients you can find in your home.

The Recipe

Here is a quick recipe on how to make your natural pesticide made for many different purposes. All you need are 4 ingredients you can easily find in your home or buy at a cheap price.

The ingredients needed:

• 3 hot green peppers (fresh or canned)
• 2 or 3 cloves garlic
• 2/4 tsp of liquid soap (important: make sure to use pure soap only with no synthetic materials, skin moisturizers or degreasers)
• 3 cups of water

After you have collected these ingredients, you can start making the pesticide. Put peppers and garlic cloves in a blender. Blend them. After this, pour the ingredients into a spray bottle and add water and liquid soap.

Leave the mix for 24 hours. After this, your homemade pesticide is ready to use.

Additional Tips

One word of caution: before spraying any plants with this solution, test a small area. In case the spray proves to be too strong, dilute it before you use it on your plants.

When using the pesticide, make sure to coat both tops and bottoms of leaves with the solution.
